Every year in Scotland thousands of people are involved in accidents that were not their fault. They can happen at work, in a public place or could be a road traffic accident. Unfortunately, they can often result in expenses (uninsured losses), many of which can be recovered by claiming them from the other party and/or their insurance company. Our solicitors and expert support teams care passionately about our clients’ long term financial and health welfare. The first stage in any claim is to make you fully aware of what you can claim for and what evidence will be required in order to submit that claim. We then work hard to apply the laws that are there to protect you and ensure you receive fair compensation. We understand the burden of financial loss and the problems associated with accidental injuries, so we focus on making the pursuit of a claim as simple as possible. We do not charge a fee for recovery of uninsured loss. We recover all our fees from the other side meaning you keep 100% of the compensation awarded.

ULR relates to the recovery from third parties or their insurers of compensation and financial losses which are not covered by your own insurance policy or for accidents/incidents where there is no form of insurance cover in force.
Under a comprehensive motor insurance policy, uninsured losses relate to the policy excess, replacement car hire charges and other expenses relating to a road traffic accident. Under Third Party/Third Party Fire and Theft cover we would seek to recover full repair costs and any other losses.
